![]() ![]() Dungelot - There's no way I can describe this game any better than the dev, so here it is: "Dungelot is a fun casual roguelike that plays almost like a strategic Advent Calendar. Oh, and it has support for the XBox 360 pad! ģ. Nitronic Rush - Developed by students at DigiPen, this "survival driving game" features everything you'd expect in a 90's-styled racer: pretty impressive (if slightly busy) neon graphics, a thumping (bass heavy) soundtrack, stunts, abilities (such as boost and wings) achievements, and both story and arcade modes. The time limit adds to the frenetic fun, as you race around an arcade, playing 80's style machines in an effort to eradicate a virus. Totally Tiny Arcade - I *love* this game! But then, I grew up in the arcades when these games (well, actually the games they are parodying) were available. Here are some geat freebies (in no particular order):ġ. Please feel free to add your own favorites, as long as they are LEGAL (no "abandonware " these must come from the devs). WIth that in mind, I recently started going on a bit of a Freebie hunt, and found some real gems (there are tons of legitimate, free games out there, but not all of them are worth playing, imo). Not only is this is a great showcase of how videogames are stripped down simulations of the real physical world generated by electronic architecture, Nuts & Bolts teaches engineering principles by providing a powerful workshop and rewards thinking outside its virtual box.GoG offers some great freebies, but I'd like to see newer (free) games from Indie devs (such as "Treasure Adventure Game," on GoG). ![]() ![]() Inside they are tasked with completing challenges including repairing an antenna and rescuing engineers from a deadly firewall, armed with any vehicle, from cars to planes and mechs, that they can build. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts’ second level, Logbox 720, takes place inside a fictional videogame console, where players can ride ribbon cable roads up its many levels, swim down coolant tubes, and ride spinning discs featuring other Rare games such as the original Banjo-Kazooie. ![]()
